Dr. Yingchun Zhu D. D.S., M. S., is a dentist with three dental degrees. Providing the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere are the priorities of Dr. Yingchun Zhu. She is dedicated to providing
her patients with a gentle, caring, and comprehensive approach to oral health. She follows a holistic approach to dentistry and believes that good oral hygiene is the key to the overall wellness of her patients.
Her commitment to excellence in the practice of General Dentistry extends beyond the routine, including the ongoing education and involvement in the health of her patients. On top of that, Dr. Zhu has developed a distinct
gift for working with children to establish sound dental habits.
She received her first dental degree from the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China, and was the recipient of the Academy of Outstanding Dental Student in General Dentistry Award in 1993. After completing
her General Dentistry training, she was accepted into the Orthodontic Graduate Program and graduated in 1996 with honors. Prior to coming to the U.S., she has practiced General Dentistry and Orthodontics. In 2009, she
graduated from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine with her 3rd dental degree. After she completed her training, she moved to the Chicagoland area and has been practicing there since.
She is a member of the United States of Dental Institute, and has earned hundreds of hours for her postdoctoral Orthodontics training. Given all of her dental training and experience, Dr. Zhu is considered by her patients

Dr. Francis Nahm, DDS, FAGD, MAAIP is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from The Ohio State University in 2005 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University in 2009, completing clinical internships at the NYC VA Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital Center. In 2010, he received the Best Table Clinic Presentation Award at the Hinman International Dental Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Nahm completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency with the U.S. Army, serving as Chief Resident. As an Army dental officer, he practiced at domestic and international locations—including Fort Jackson, Fort Sam Houston, Fort Bragg, Camp Casey in South Korea, and the Philippines, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Major, receiving multiple awards for his service.
He holds prestigious professional distinctions, including Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and Mastership in the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (MAAIP). His practice emphasizes comprehensive and surgical dentistry, combining advanced expertise with compassionate care. Dr. Nahm lectures nationally and internationally, leads a dental implantology study group, and serves as an international faculty member at Youngsan University in South Korea.
Dr. Nahm believes that great dentistry begins with listening, clear communication, and genuine care. He enjoys helping patients of all ages feel comfortable while providing personalized, step-by-step treatment. His practice focuses on evidence-based care, including:

Dr.
Kim is from Seoul, South Korea. His family moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics from Creighton University. Later, he received a Doctor of Dental
Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Kim worked as a general dentist in private practices for 2 years prior to returning to UIC College of Dentistry to obtain a Specialty Certificate in Endodontics and a Masters in Oral Sciences. Dr. Kim received the Resident
Award at the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Endodontists for his presentation on the influence of anti-resorptive and anti- angiogenesis medication on the outcome of non-surgical root canal treatment.
Dr. Kim is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Coolidge Endodontic Study Club, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Kim
is board eligible and is currently pursuing board certification to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring culinary delights, and spending time with his wife and Scottish Fold cat "Bopon". Providing him with restaurant recommendations is strongly encouraged!
